carnival

After an endless journey, finally crossed the pond and landed in Salvador. Then we had to get used to the "tropical rhythm" (3 hours waiting to catch a bus route makes a 40 minute ...... took 2 hours).
We begin our summer to 30 degrees, with sun from 6 manhana to 6 pm.
The city is very very quiet during the carnival. During the parade Just go in groups, without a clock and see it next to the police station (one every 50 meters .... or not). Sometimes you see Indian police ranks, you do not know if they are extras or real.
The maps are well defined places / streets safe for travel, and not recommended white, yellow (we believe a bright red would be more appropriate).
The schedule of the electric trios (extras) are yet to come .... we are on the third day. We were behind one of these trios electric and do not know if we are more out of place with the color of our skin or the hips moving art (but easy to do here is a genetic !!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!)
The city produced temporarily, with shops closed and barred doors, and never better, because they are real roadblocks. And because people have to make a living, because alcohol is sold nearly everywhere, supermarkets, libraries, gas stations (boxes of beer covering gas pumps) and even funeral homes (investment in the business ..).
already told you something in the following entries .....
photos, another day that now we have to get drunk. .. ups say, dance!
